hi, currently, the version switch function is closed temporarily because of reboot issue. Our team is working on fixing that. It will be released on our later version. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Thanks for your understanding.

I've been having two serious usability issues since upgrading to 4.8.0:
- My watch doesn't stay connected to my phone, drops after a couple of days and takes quite a bit of work to get it reconnected (un-pairing and re-pairing).
- battery life is diminished. I used to get about 2 days (without ambient mode on) - now I get 7-8 hours
Also, the pedometer seems to measure more steps, but I can't tell you whether it was underestimating before.

To better understand your case, could you please provide more information?
What is your companion version, phone model and OS version? Did you enable wifi or use fitness?
As for the pedometer issue, we've noticed it and improvement will be made on our later version.

I'm using a samsung galaxy S4, android version 5.0.1. Companion software is Ticwatch Global v4.8.1_intl (I did update this recently).

Still having issues with connectivity:
- When connecting from companion app, trying the reconnect button results in a time out
- on phone, bluetooth option >> try to reconnect - doesn't work
- from watch Preferences >> network >> Bluetooth device >> Searching ... (but never seems to find anything)

I did manage to get it to reconnect one time after installing Tic_4.8.0_intl, but I can't remember how now sorry. I think I had to unpair both devices and repair. If I work it out, I'll post here.

One more thing that might help: when I put the watch in airplane mode, the battery life is good again - I guess when airplane mode is off, it is constantly trying to connect to the phone.

In general, it doesn't have too much matters with this. Maybe battery issue is quite special. Could you please provide logs both of your watch and companion?

Actually I can't sorry, since my last post I managed to destroy my phone by running over it with the car (yes, you read that right). I'm going to have to wait until I get a new phone to test it out again. Hopefully it was an issue with the old phone.

Hi all.
How to install a global firmware onto a chinese Ticwatch? I can't use the Chinese watch in Europe and need to replace the Chinese firmware with the Global one.
