Re: No notifications

Oppo + Ticwatch now working/notifying properly.
Solution is to stop Oppo from killing Ticwatch background processes, to save battery. As per above translation.

Re: No notifications

@sreeharicp - There was an update on 5 Jan, I just noticed. Issue is still similar, but different. I get new warning massage from Ticwear Global app - notification service error - notifications not available ....... It has a "Settings" button which is supposed to go to system settings, but instead g...

Re: No notifications

@sreeharicp - I currently have same issue you describe. It is quite disappointing. I have submitted issue to Mobvoi Support - but they are yet to be of any help. We seem to be stuck with this for now, which makes using the watch quite unattractive. Sometimes it will work fine for 8 hours, other time...

Re: No notifications

I should add, for those reading this Topic, that my actions listed earlier did clear the issue that I could not get around for a few days, until I did those steps. However !!! :( it still bites me once or twice a day. So there is still an issue. I expect we are not alone. Fortunately, the three or f...

Re: No notifications

Phone - I removed *all* smart watch apps - Mobvoi store, Gear/Pebble, Android Wear, Watchmaker, etc Watch: On factory reset - select "clear data". Phone: When setting up the app again (1) Do not u...

Re: No notifications

@Alextic. Sorry to hear that. I can only suggest what I did. As I had the same issue as you, but managed to clear away what was causing it. Good luck.

Re: No notifications

Yes, understood and agreed. The great looks of the Ticwatch do come at a price, compared to Pebble, and others. But I accepted that price, with eyes open, and their introductory KS price could not be ignored. :-)

Re: No notifications

Thanks AK1. Yes, it was quite frustrating. I was beginning to lose 'faith'. ;-) Dam good watch otherwise. A few things need to improve, but it's early days. I'm a happy camper again!

Re: No notifications

:D Okay, this is what I did, as far as I can remember... Phone: Removed Gear 2 app. Removed Android Wear app (both of these were for my other smart watch). Removed Mobvoi store app. Removed Ticwatch app. Rebooted. Reinstalled Ticwatch (Global) app. Watch: Factory reset - including clear data. Phone:...

Re: No notifications

Nope. Same. No notifications.
I'm trying, one more time, to - phone: remove/uninstall everything watch related; & watch: factory reset.
Will send update later.
