Found the problem. This lame watch has Google DNS servers hardcoded in as the only DNS option for Google services like Google Assistant and (also broken without access to Google DNS) Google Play Store for Wear OS!!! I block Google DNS on my own network as part of geo-unlocking for certain services. ...

All I ever get is "Can't reach Google at the moment". My new TicWatch S2 is connected to Wi-Fi and via Bluetooth. I'm staring at the Wear OS app now on my phone and it's connected, yet this watch can't manage a simple Google Assistant request. I wish I could say it was the only broken software I've ...

Your "fill in a tracking number and the name of delivery company used after you send back the original product" section of your warranty page gives a javascript error, but does seem to actually add the tracking info. Still, it's not working 100% as it should. FYI: it just cost me NZD $55.48 (USD $36...

To my mind, when a watch - the TicWatch S2 in my case - is delivered direct from Mobvoi, and won't turn on, won't charge with either of the two included chargers, and results in only 'USB device not recognised' errors in Windows, I think return shipping ought to be Mobvoi's responsibility. Not mine....

Yeah, it never worked despite trying both chargers (I got a free extra shipped with the watch) and other USB ports. Windows 10 reported being unable to recognise the device. The watch never warmed after spending many hours on both chargers. So it is profoundly dead on arrival. I've filed for waranty...

G'day.

How long should I expect to have to wait for the long press on the crown (to turn my S2 on) to work, after beginning it's first charging session?

How long a press is long, BTW?
