See Notifications Hands-free?

Is there a way to see my notifications hands-free----that is, without having to use my figure to swipe up on my watch face to see them? TIA

Re: WiFi connection won't change.

Bump. I just tried connecting to the Starbucks I am at, and cannot get the watch to connect to wifi; it tries and says "Connection failure."

Re: Navigate Without Phone?

I have to disagree that Google Maps is only designed to work with a phone. It works from tablets, no phone required. This would still seem to be a software issue with the watch itself.

WiFi connection won't change.

I was looking into wifi a bit. Looking at connectivity, wifi , the WiFi on "On, automatic". It also shows "Sally's WiFi" as "last used"; Sally's is now a couple hundred miles away. I can't get rid of Sally's as the last connected network. I am connected to WiFi on my phone to "Joe's WiFi" which requ...

WiFi connect with phone off, how to

I hope this isn't a repeat but I couldn't find it using search. Should you be able to use apps on the watch via WiFi without the phone turned on? Example: I had previously connected via phone to Joe's WiFi. It required me to check a check box and touch a "connect" button; pretty typical for a restau...

Re: Texting away from phone?

Sabertooth, that info confuses me a bit. If you have to meet those 3 conditions you cited, why would the watch even need LTe? I could text from my old Sony smartwatch with my phone on and by my side. Thanks.

Re: Navigate Without Phone?

Garry, How do I"take a bug report" from my watch? If I knew how, I would provide it to you. Thanks, and let me know!

Re: Navigate Without Phone?

Gary, Thanks for bumping this up the line. My watch also had a bit of an effort trying to pick up GPS position. It sure seems that it would be a quick and basic feature for a watch built for "stand-alone" use (exercise, biking, etc). I did get it to finally find GPS (I tried to isolate it from the p...

Re: Texting using Google Assistant

Hypothetically: Say you lock the SIM. Later, you decide to switch service to Verizon and want to add the watch. Can the SIM be activated at that point (ie Verizon will be able to look up the PUK even though the device was never activated on their system)?

Navigate Without Phone?

When I was experimenting a bit with my Pro 4G (no mobile service from V), I tried via WiFi (no phone) to have the watch navigate me to the local post office via "ok Google"/Assistant without my phone. Assistant would find the post office but then it would almost immediately replace the message/route...
