I did reinstall the companion app and restart the phone, reset the watch, and set everything clean, it worked for me eventually. Yeah, but it's painful. Hope the iOS10.0.2 issues will be fixed soon.

Can you try google account?

Flashing means it hasn't finished locating yet. Sometimes it takes several minutes to locate...

Could it be that Ticwear app doesn't have SMS permission?

I can receive SMS notification when paired with an iPhone6s. It's in the notification stream. Make sure the SMS notification shows up in the status bar of your phone, maybe there is a setting for that. If it shows up in your phone, then it should show up in the watch.

It seems to support only full name contact dialing or number dialing.

There is also a gesture trigger, too. You can try turn it on in settings, and shake your wrist twice to trigger voice search.

Can you provide the city name? It could be the underlying data source is not accurate enough.
