I think this is easily accomplished by selecting the Calendar, where the list of upcoming scheduled events is seen and you can scroll through them. During notification (including my Apple Watch), only the next event within the notification window (e.g. 15 minute notification) is seen without taking ...

Scratch the last question. Found an earlier post. Long-press on the notification screen and the "clear all" option displays. Nicely implemented!

Another "how to" question... is there a way to quickly clear all notifications at once? It's time consuming to swipe away each notification one at a time when there are more than just a few. Thanks!

I also got the 4.4.2 OTA today. Working well. No changes evident other than the IOS connection stability.
