Re: Make it possible to connect via WIFI instead of bluetooth
The watch does connect to the phone through wifi. You need to have the cloud synch turned on. It's a little flaky, but every now and then I get a little cloud symbol which indicates that it is talking to my phone via wifi. One thing is that you need to remember to turn wifi on (which is usually turn...

Many thanks Jerry. It's really appreciated. The more I use this watch, the more cool things I find I can do with it

Re: Heart rate and steps are inaccurate and don't sync to Google Fit
I've noticed that neither the watch or the companion application are able to transfer the duration of walking activities to Google Fit. This means that you cannot set activity time as a goal in Google Fit. No time of activity is being transferred to Google Fit. The steps are being transferred (after...

Bug: Tickle strip on weather app
I noticed that even though there are two sub-screens in the weather app (today's weather and the three-day forecast) the tickle strip does not work correctly. You have to swipe up to get the forecast. You should be able to do the same with the tickle. If someone wants to see if the tickle strip thin...

Re: What are Duty Fees?
In Spain the duty was just the VAT (Sales Tax) @ 21% + a small 0.80 euros import tax. For my Onyx, this came to 35.21 euros (or ~$38.00), which is more-or-les what I was expecting. The shocking thing was that DHL charged a whopping 41.66 euro (~$47.00) handling charge . I was expecting something lik...

How to turn the screen off (intelligently) and save power
To allow the screen to turn off, you need to disable Ambient mode (which is turned on by default). To do this: First go to Settings (swipe left) http://i.imgur.com/zINJN0D.jpg Then select Preferences: http://i.imgur.com/VnLSBxE.jpg Then select Ambient mode (so that it is off) http://i.imgur.com/bPdO...

Re: ADB tutorial!
Thanks for the instructions on side installing apps. I just tried to install the Google Authenticator wear app. It installed perfectly, but then - of course - failed because it couldn't contact the phone. Never mind - I suppose I just really wanted it to work (even though I suspected there would be ...
