Hey mjrupkg, do you mean the "X" in the middle of the additional watchfaces (+) after you pressing the downlod button on the bottom? This "X" and a darker Chosen watchface in background should be normal. If it starts downloading the watchface on background lights up step by step....

Hey jdsinger,

not sure, but are you looking for the mode where the display will always be on with the static kind of your watchface?

If so or just give it a try:
1) Settings
2) Preference
3) Ambient mode -> Enabled

you should be able to change your ticwatch settings to metric like this:
1) Settings
2) Preference
3) Units: imperial<>metric
