Re: WatchMaker Premium Faces Steps Not Showing

I know all the support staff seems busy with the Kickstarter, but any update on this issue?

I'm kinda hoping that they're looking to being Android Wear to the Ticwatch, which is why certain issue aren't getting resolved (that will be addressed by AW). Just a thought/hope haha

I'm really liking the auto-pause of the fitness tracker during walks/runs. I'm assuming that it doesn't auto-pause when you're under Free Style, right?

Re: Ticwatch S is coming soon on Kickstarter

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if they wait until the Ticwatch SE campaign is over to release AW for the Ticwatch 2. From a business perspective, you don't want you backers to back out of a sale. From a moral/transparency perspective, it's a bad move. The hardware looks to be the same specs, excep...

Re: Ticwatch S is coming soon on Kickstarter

Seeing that the Ticwear SE watches run the MT2601 chipset with the same amount or RAM/ROM (although likely different GPS and WiFi chips) it would seem like this could be done with minimal effort. Am I correct in assuming that? I'm not familiar with how licensing and whatnot works for Android Wear.

That's good news! Can we expect any kind of update from Ticwear/Google regarding this shortly or is it still preliminary?

Re: Ticwatch 4.12.0_intl_a1 beta version upgrade log

I don't have a "direct" device comparison, i.e. Fitbit vs Ticwear, but seeing the steps on my watch vs Google Fit (which tracks passively in the background) I am seeing the steps being massively over estimated: Google Fit: 643 Ticwear: 1592 I think we're back at square one for the step counting algo...

Re: Ticwatch S is coming soon on Kickstarter

Yeah, unfortunately I just got my Ticwatch 2 for $60 more than this new, AW compatible version. Is AW compatibility coming to the TW2?

Re: Watchmaker Watchface no longer displays steps correctly

I opened a bug with WatchMaker here: http://watchmaker-bugs.idea.informer.co ... ?ia=112571

I don't think it is a WatchMaker issue though. I believe it was working in older versions of the TicWear.
