Re: Tilt to Wake DOESN'T work 95% of the time

The watch does not know where and how one's face is (especially if one isn't sitting/standing upright, but e.g. laying in bed), so no, "parallel to your own face" is certainly not part of the gesture detection. I did test it quite a lot in various positions, and when the wake up worked, it was alway...

Re: ETA on Software Update

Afaik, they are working on the Oreo update already. So they might squeeze in also some own bugfixes. They do not have an ETA for that Oreo update yet.

Re: "Wake on tilt " intermittent and slow

Check this thread (and especially my list of notes about it - how it seems to work): https://forum.mobvoi.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=2744&start=30#p7951 Seems it is quite strict on how it starts, and especially how the movement ends; watch face must point roughly up and the movement must end to that. ...

Re: List here: things that should be fixed.

Some others I've spotted: * BT connection stability (seems there are at least two types of problems: long transmits failing/stopping, and for some people not even connecting to or disconnecting from the phone). * Step counter accuracy / extra steps being generated too easily. * Related to faster scr...

Re: It's best solution to use offline music. (any device)

Definitely not the best way if the google play music happens to be available in the region and can be installed in the usual way. (I can just imagine the amount issues for people who are barely managing the normal operations start to eagerly side-load all kinds of apk to their watches (considering h...

Re: Disable step ranking?

I don't know about the "step ranking" (I just told the watch to not give it any permissions and the app seemingly won't then even start). However, the pesky notifications about "should go to walk" or something to reach daily (or whatever) goals... That was "Health" app, 4 views to right (settings), ...

Re: Ticwatch S & E battery life

My battery lasts a good 24 hours with minimal usage, however it drops fast in other circumstances. see attached image of the battery usage via android wear app. A few things to note: 1. in the attached my battery didn't last even 12 hours :( 2. the reported sources of power drain only account for 3...

Re: Ticwatch S battery life

It is not bad/false advertising as so many have the promised battery life. (E.g. I just checked my watch sitting on the desk... since about 1.5 days from taking of the charger. Battery status 49%. A limited test on hand was giving me an estimate 1-1.5 days battery life, so the moving hand keeping th...
