Re: The story of my Ticwatch

Greetings Moritz! I have to admit that was I in your shoes, having just purchased a new smartwatch at the airport, I would have done the exact same thing as you. That said looking at it with the knowledge I have now, I would know I had let myself in for a painful experience. The fact is the issue of...

Re: TicWatch Pro

Running Google Maps - I have no problem with that. What I would like to know is, how am I supposed to use it on the watch? I can zoom in and out with the +\- buttons and pan around with the touchscreen. If I tap and hold, I'm dropping a pin and then a blue tab labeled "Pinned position" appears on t...

I update my phone my reinstalling the complete OS so I need to pair my watch with my phone again. However, the watch just didn't show up in the wear os app from my phone but only the Bluetooth menu. Re: Android Recovery Error Message

The watch is stuck on this message and won't reboot. If I swipe as it suggests it attempts to restart and then displays the message again. It is essentially dead in the water at this point. How can this be fixed. A google search indicates that this is a known problem but I haven't found the fix for...

Re: E2 always-on display

Thanks for the answer! Is there any way (regular or adb) to change ambient brightness back to its strongest value? I can't see my ambient watchface during the day, but I've used to with the original E. Greetings twyzeas! Unfortunately, ambient brightness can't be changed independently in most cases...

Re: E2 always-on display

Hi folks, I've just bought the new E2, switching from my old E (let's call it E1). So, basically I used the E1 in an always-on ambient mode with the gestures turned off. It can still hold off 2 days like this. I've come to appreciate this passive smartwatch that can track my activities, yet won't k...

Re: TicWatch2 keep restarting

Greetings balansp! I can across these instructions from another user reporting the same problem that may help. Had the same problem but these steps seems to have worked for me. 1. Connect to the charger - it was still stuck in the boot loop. 2. Hold the crown/button down for around 30 secs until a l...

Re: Stock on "Getting watch details"

Exactly same problem. I'm waiting for replies... Greetings erinnis! It will help if you can provide details of your phone make and model and watch model. Also, the specific problem being investigated in this topic occurs after you factory reset the watch. Have you recently factory reset the watch? ...

Re: Stock on "Getting watch details"

Two more things - as I said before, pairing on Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus completes in under 5 minutes, I've checked just a moment ago. I'll try to leave the watch overnight for pairing, hope that will help. Greetings prodigy! I'm guessing that the watch was first connected to the Redmi 5 plus and then yo...
