-iOS 11 pairing issue-

Post by Gaby » Tue Jun 27, 2017 9:00 am

Hi Guys,

we have received feedback from several users that they have difficulties to pair Ticwatch to iPhone after updating to iOS11. Since this is a beta version, the pairing issue might be caused by some fundamental changes from Apple in terms of data transfer function. Currently, we are analyzing this issue and will need some time to find the root cause. Before further notice, we would not recommend you to update to iOS 11 beta from a risk perspective. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Best,

I have no issues pairing my watch on iOS 11 Beta. I am using 4.10.1 Beta with iOS 2.4.0-36-gd6bf93e companion app.

Luck guy! Some users may have issues after updating the phone, so it is not suggested currently.

@sdevroey It turns out to be a bug of iOS, we've reported it to Apple, waiting for the issue being fixed.

It seems the problems between iOS 11 and Ticwatch continue!

I received my Ticwatch S this week and it will not connect with my iphone7 running iOS 11.1.2 (latest) or my iPad running the same. The Ticwatch S is not even visible in Bluetooth settings, so Android Wear and other apps do not work. Even after resetting all network connections on all devices and doing many other things recommended.

I have had to use an old Samsung phone to get the basics of the watch running. I have the latest watch and android updates all installed in the watch.

Can anyone help with this problem? This lack of compatibility kills the watch experience and renders it useless.

Thanks

Hi community.

I have the same issue pairing my IPhone 5s with the latest iOS. Just Connection Problems. Another Problem is, that my IPhone does not connect to the Watch with the ticwear app. Only the android app and the ticwatch apps pairing the phone. Can anyone solve the problem, please?

There are some issues like Bluetooth connectivity problem that keeps on cropping up from time to time. Hence, I wasn’t surprised at all when I found Bluetooth not working on my iOS 11 device the other day.

I tried a few simple yet effective tricks that have been very loyal and worked on previous iOS versions as well and got the solution without any pain in the back. If the Bluetooth connectivity seems to have suddenly gone kaput on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 11 and you wish to get rid of the problem quickly, follow these viable solutions.
