To Our Loyal Readers and Fans
I would like to apologize to everyone for the delayed release of the third installment of the Jerry Tic Tips column. You guys are the reason we are here today. You made it happen. On behalf of everyone at Mobvoi, I would like to say a huge thank you and that we would not have made it without your support and understanding! Best fans ever!
This week's update covers our fitness apps and how to use them efficiently.
For the past few weeks, I have been working with our design and development teams to get the latest information regarding our apps and app updates. I have been informed that they are in the process of redesigning our Fitness app. So, the screenshots below are the latest edition and it will be updated when we release the new version early next year.
Health App
Your Ticwatch uses the Health app to track your fitness stats for the past week in addition to testing your heart rate on click.
It can keep track of your step goals and also provide you with reminders to get up and exercise. This is quite useful for those of us who work at our desks several hours a day.
Fitness App
Activities
You can choose between five different activities: Outdoor Run, Outdoor Walk, Indoor Run, Cycling, and Free Style.
Goals
Depending on your activity you can set up to four goals: Target Duration, Target Distance, Target Calories, Target Steps. Click on the plus and minus buttons for each category and tap Start to start your workout.
If you are running without your phone please wait until you see the flashing arrow icon on the screen before you start your workout. When the arrow is on the screen, then the GPS has locked on.
Realtime Information
During the workout, swipe down on the bottom part of the screen to see your: Current Heart Rate, Elapsed Time, Distance, Calories Burnt, Speed, and Steps.
Pause and Save Workout
If you would like to pause your workout, tap the screen, select the pause icon. To end your workout, select the checkered flag. You will see a list of your workout achievements. At the end of the list, select Save to save it and Delete to delete the data.
Stopwatch
Our stopwatch app tracks time as a whole or as intervals (laps). Tap the start button to start the time and tap the lap button to start a new lap. Tap the pause button to pause the timer. The gray reverse arrow resets the data and the beige start button resumes the stopwatch.
Tap on the “Lap” button or swipe right to left, to review lap times.
