Issues Connecting to TicWear App

Hi,

Just got my ticwatch and have connected it to android wear. When trying to connect to tic wear, the QR code will not pop up. I have factory restarted it twice and I can never get past that step...

Tips?

Same issue for me. I do not know how to show the QR code for pairing.

It didn't work for me with the ticwear either. However, it works flawlessly using android wear. Did you try that?

Hi Guys, did you pair through ticwatch app? or ticaware? because the ticware is not going to work with the pair.

Tried the Ticwear Global app w7o success. Ticwatch app works. But there I can see only some health-related data. Is there an option to add additional watchfaces just like in the Ticwear app?

Do we have to connect to the ticwear app? Are there benefits to pairing with it? I know we’re supposed to be able to download apps to the watch through the ticwear app. Is there a way to download apps through android wear app?

Same problem here.

Ticwatch Model E
Android Wear 2.0.0.169881869
Android OS 7.1.1
Build number NWD1.171014.002

Nexus 6P
No other BT devices connected,
Factory reset watch
It connects via BT (pairing BT succesfull, accepts PIN)
Watch displays 'Connected' then 'Checking for updates ...' and then 'Continue setup on phone'
After that no change.

On the phone Android Wear (2.6.0.176378847.gms) does NOT recognize the ticwatch.
Nothing happens

Restarted the phone,
Reset the ticwatch about a dozen times
switched off and on bluetooth on the phone
told to forget the ticwatch.

All to no avail, very disappointing.

What do I have to do now?

Guys ticwear app was build for ticwatch 2 as it runs on ticwear OS.
As ticwatch e and s are on android OS you need Android Wear app for it.
Dont waste your time pairing it with ticwear app as it wont be useful.

Also if you need new watch faces use Mr time, watchmaker and Facer app
And for syncing music use Wear Media app.

I hope its useful...

Just got this thing and everything's updated on Nexus 6P and everything and same problem. Hung up on 'continue setup on phone'. :(
