Ticwatch E connected to bluetooth but no internet

hi, I just received by Ticwatch E and pairing with my phone is working fine but there is no connection to my phone internet even though it is connected to bluetooth plus i can received notification on my agenda & SMS. When I try to connect to Playstore or checking weather on my watch, there is no connection. I have reset the watch plus set the phone android wear apps to no retriction & of high priority but it still not connected to phone internet. Using the watch wifi connected to my home network is working fine but just can't connected on my phone internet when I am outside.

Same here, I can confirm the problem. Somebody from Mobvoi, can you please help us?

Yupp same here.... Tried EVERYTHING. From factory resetting both watch and phone to lifting any restrictions/optimizations on all affiliated apps. Nada. Basic connectivity works but cant access google assistant or google play via Bluetooth. Only way to use any voice commands is to connect the watch to wifi... Which is bs. I shouldnt have to wifi tether my watch to my phone to get the functionality out of it that was meant to work through a standard bt connection... This is a serious problem and i am currently contemplating returning the watch. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Going to tinker with it for a day or two before i send it back though. Whays the deal here Mobvoi?

Hi all,

We have run several test and detected no issues with the watch.

Please check the following.

1. Check that phone and watch are connected properly via bluetooth
2. Check that cellular data on your phone is working properly.
3. Check that you have enabled mobile data on your phone for the applications you are trying to use i.e weaher etc.

If all the above do not work, please bring it up here with the software version & phone model and we will look into your case further.

I'm getting this too. Can only connect to the internet by the phone's wifi, not cellular. iPhone SE, latest software. TicWatch E, "latest" software. Please advise.

Huawei Elate. Ticwatch S. Works great except I cannot access any internet based features away from WiFi. Starting to regret purchasing this watch since Mobvoi has not addressed our concerns.

In the meantime,

Hi,

I'm experiencing the same issue and I'm very disappointed.
I use Ticwatch E with OnePlus 5T, I tried almost everything, wipe cache, factory reset, uninstall etc ... and it's still here.

The issue does not show when you reboot the phone, but if you turn off Bluetooth on phone or watch, then you reconnect, you can't have internet on the watch (but you receive notifications). For example, you cannot connect to Google Play Store on the watch.
So you have to reboot the phone again ...

Hope this could help.

Also, I'm on the last updates on OnePlus 5T and Ticwatch E at this day

Please do something for us, this watch is amazing.
