Charging Cable Broken from New

I was given a Ticwatch Pro for christmas from a friend.

Was surprised that no charging brick is included, only the cable. Plugged it into my friends samsung charger so i could setup the watch and apply updates. Noticed it was charging very slow.

Got it home, left it on my charger and it took over 12 hours to charge up to 100%.
Attempted to connect it to my computer, and the watch continuously disconnects and reconnects over and over within seconds.
I made sure the contacts were clean and securely attached. no change.

Has anyone else had this issue? I tried to lodge a support ticket, but they want an invoice in my name, which i cant produce as it was a GIFT and its in my friends name.

Yup i received my watch at Xmas and my charger dock is faulty. lodged a ticket and new one being sent. i noticed that of the four pins on the dock, one was frozen whereas the other 3 were spring loaded. hoping this is the issue. watch is dead.....
