Ticwatch S screen unresponsive

Post by Zirx » Sat Dec 02, 2017 4:35 pm

Hi,

Every now and then the screen of my Ticwatch S becomes completely unresponsive or over-reacts on touching it.
I'm not able to select any apps in the menu or it keeps on changing watchfaces.

The only thing that I can do is restarting using the side button.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?
Or am I having a defective screen or something?

I have had this twice. A complete reboot helped in my case. That is, a loooooong press on the button to turn off, then another to turn back on, since getting to do it via menu won't work when it is behaving like that.

I've had this happen once two weeks ago.
I was working out, so I suspected it was due to sweat, however, after a while the issue was stil there and a reboot solved it.

So I think it was not due to moisture, but something in the software or drivers being messed up.
