Heart Rate on Tic S

Has anyone else noticed that the heart rate doesn't seem to be accurate past 145 bpm?

I have it as tight as it will go and I have been using a chest strap with endomondo for 3 years now.

I tested this with the watch on both rists with it as tight as it goes. Heart rate doesn't register higher then 150bpm.

Using 2 different chest at different times to compare with watch, while the hardest part of my workout shows 175-185bpm the watch is only recording 147bpm.

I know this sounds pitty but when you are tracking calories burned running on a treadmill this really makes a difference.

Is my watch defective or is this a software update? Is anyone else having issues? I have tested other fitness watches and they are much more accurate. (within 5bpm of a chest strap)

Are far as I'm aware, most optical heart rate monitors are inaccurate over ~160 bpm. I personally haven't tried mine over 140 bpm, so I can't comment. Any other TicWatch S/E users with heart rate inaccuracies?

My Badminton sessions regularly have my HR readings up into the 160s. No idea how accurate that is as I have nothing else to compare against at that time. When I'm on a static bike with built in HR monitor the bike and watch are within a couple of beats up to 145 though.

I don't have the strap on particularly tight, enough to hold the watch steady, but not be uncomfortable.

I just tried my first workout today with my ticwatch e and it steadily recorded 140 until I pressed it into my wrist which then read 180. As I was training HIIT I'm pretty sure the second figure is the accurate one.

Can anyone at Mobvoi comment?
