Sleep as Android

Post by FuzzyWolf » Mon Jan 29, 2018 10:36 am

Hey guys,

Just wondering with the Ticwatch E, has anyone tried Sleep as android? I've been using it with my good old G watch and since I ordered the Ticwatch E, I would like to know if it works.

It seems on certain devices aren't able to do Sensor Batching so it causes big battery drain when using the app.

Sensor batching from the app dev: https://sleep.urbandroid.org/glossary/sensor-batching/

I use Sleep as Android on my Ticwatch E and it works fine. Generally uses about 30% battery overnight provided my phone is in the same room - if it's further away it uses a lot more battery, maybe 70%.

based in the table on their website i'd say no batching unfortunately. the watch 40ish% for about 8 hours of sleep which seems to be more representative of the models that dont support it.

Hi! Works ok so far. Eats about 30 percent of battery for 6-hour sleep.

I have used it and it works just fine. You can start sleep tracking on the watch or the phone.

Works fine for me. No battery drain. Had a Pebble before and loved that it at last tries to detect sleep times. Sleep as Android must be started manually.

Sleep as Android - not compatible with your device

Post by jeans » Sun May 06, 2018 6:18 pm

"Sleep" doesn't show up on my Ticwatch S's Play app.
When trying to install the app via web, I get "this item is not compatible with your device".

What could be wrong?

I have the same problem.
I can't find the App in the play store on the phone.
On the mobile (google play) , it just installs to mobile and I can't figure out how to connect to phone.
On the Web I get that same error that the app is not compatible with my device.

Any thoughts?
Any way to sideload an app to the phone?
