Unable to Reconnect after moving the watch away from iPhone

My Ticwatch E can always be connected to my iPhone easily when it is just restarted or just turned on.
However, I find that EVERYTIME when I move my watch away from my iPhone
(e.g. going to the washroom without bringing my iPhone along with me),
my watch will be disconnected from the iPhone and it can no longer be connected to the iPhone again (even if I manually press "reconnect" in my watch and open the Android Wear app in my iPhone at the same time).

Hi,

Should that happen again, you can try to turn on & off airplane mode on the watch and reconnect the watch,

Jamie, there are several threads on the same issue. Clearly there's a deeper problem than Mobvoi is aware of. I'm savvy with all things electronic and nothing is working. I don't understand why it works for most of the day, then something tips the balance that stops the watch connecting with its host device.

Are there any software updates planned for the very near future? If not, I'll be sending mine back.
