GPS accuracy

Hi i have been runninh with my ticwatch s the last week and noticed that tye distance ran is over 1 klm out. I ran a 5klm park run this morning and it recorded 6.6km as total distance. Is anyone else having this issue? Thabks

Yes, I've had this happen with the last 3 runs I've had outside. I also tried 2 different Apps within the watch. I sent an email to customer support today.

The accuracy of GPS can be pretty low especially inside.
An error of 150 feet would not be uncommon. Altitude measurements can be off by more than that.

Hi, I am having a very similar issue which I have seen when using the TicExercise and Strava apps on my TicWatch Pro - on a long run, the watch can record miles extra, maybe as much as 10% more than it should. On examining the gpx files, I can often see where the signal jumps away from my actual position as a small spike off the actual track.
The attached file shows what this looks like - there is a spike where I never left the track
