I now have a TicWatch Pro that won't charge anymore. I've had the watch for less than about 4-5 days from now, and it worked just fine. I've had the watch & the charger since Saturday morning, and to my dismay, I tried charging the phone overnight last night, and I now have a useless watch, and a useless charging pod. I have notified Mobvoi of this, but until I can get this problem rectified, I'm out of luck.

Hi,

just received my TicWatch PRO back from repair centre. They replaced charging cradle.
How could I know if this is "upgraded" cradle or still the same, old type ? When I check it, it says: Input: 5V, 1A(MAX), Output: 5V, 0.8A (Rated)
Thanks, Tomi.

Hi 9k2/s53co,

New charging Cradle voltage is same as old one but new one can handle higher overflow voltage that old can't.

We now provide new updated charger with every replacement and also comes out of the box.

Dear Mobvoi team,
after 7 months after having charging cradle replaced with (supossedly) new one, my Ticwatch PRO stopped charging again. It charges a bit, then stops. This is it, I am done with this watch, not getting to buy any product from Mobvoi as well will never recommend it to anyone.
I had my doubts since day one about "new" charging cradle, as it has exactly the same specs as old one, while reading this forum, new one was improved, as Aathif said above, with higher overflow voltage.
Sorry Mobvoi, but fooling clients is not what I accept.
Regards, Tomi.

Hi 9k2/s53co,

We are really very sorry for the issue you currently facing but seems like you used fast charging dock for updated charging Cradle. For your note updated charging doesn't support fast charging as previous one.

Please apply for replacement charging Cradle through support@mobvoi.com and make sure to use charging dock that capable outputting 5V 1amp Max.

Dear Aathif,

since day 1, I use the same charger - Apple charger - 5V 1A. No other chargers were used, ever.
I am not sure if I am entitled to get cradle replaced via Support@mobvoi.com as I live in Slovenia and watch was bought locally.

Regards, Tomi

Fraud and unwillingness to fulfill obligations. On June 18, the support service decided to send me a new charger. The decision indicated that the logistics information should appear in 24-48 hours. I waited 4 days, but the information did not appear. I contacted the support service, and they answered that they could not send a replacement, because the postal service was not working due to the coronavirus. This is false information. I order and receive goods from abroad without any problems. Warranty ID: 28889

Same issue here, won't charge (just get the lightning icon), wasn't charging so tried the charger from my phone, so guess it's knackered now, if it wasn't before

Ticwatch e2. Tho not as pricey as Pro, but still, originally planned to propose this as a solution for commercial solution since it's one of the few affordable Google wear watches, but heck with this charging / bricked issue.

Stop giving excuses about the chargers.
It was fine even with my Qualcomm 2.0 charger in the early year. Just stopped using / charging it for a while, then it's bricked.

I have plenty of chargers, even the low A ones.
None of them work.
It's just blinking with the charging logo on a boot loop, vibrating when it reboots, again and again and again.

Come on. Even a Xiaomi mi band lasts longer than this.

I bought a new charger last year when the original one stopped working. The watch and charger have been in a desk drawer for 4 months while I was staying mostly in the home. Now that I feel comfortable getting back out to hike, I brought the watch out to charge it up. And it won't charge. Just from sitting idle for 4 months. I've had it with Mobvoi products.

Same problem. Over £200 spent on a product that now sits on the shelf 1 year later. All the watch does is get a little warm when on charge but nothing else. I have sent a message to Mobvoi, Let's see if they do anything. I'm not optimistic though.
