How to tear down the charging cradle of TicwatchPro ?

Post by paolocorpo » Sat Jul 20, 2019 7:26 pm

The contact pins on my cradle have moved inside the plastic
So no contact is possible with watch and consequently no possible the charging
How to open the cradle in safe way and try to move the contact pins back to the standard position?

For my ticwatch pro I had the same problem. I decided to buy another charging dock because I thought I might've used the wrong voltage. That was actually not the case. Apparantly when I ordered a new charging dock, I noticed on my defected one, the charging pins were stuck inside and would not pop out. Maybe this could be because when it magnetically sticks onto the dock, it may press the pins to hard to make them get jammed. This can explain a little bit why it turns on but then it turns back off. I'm trying to jam the pins out. Will write soon if I can come up with a solution.
