Battery improvement?

Post by szerwi1 » Mon Aug 26, 2019 1:42 pm

Hi,

After Wear OS app update on Ticwatch Pro from 24th of August I saw big battery life improvement. I have 20% left after about 53h. Before the update I had needed to charge the watch every 2 days, now it seems that it can stay for up to 3 days.

Do you have any information about battery improvement made by Google, or is it just the luck that it is working for that amount of time? :)

Greetings Wegas!

The latest firmware for the Ticwatch Pro is PWDD.190617.007. You can check your watch by opening Settings and going to System/About/Build number. It should auto-update while the watch is charging. But, if you don't have it, press the System updates in the same place. A new version of Wear OS was just released also so check for updates in the Play Store app too. Open the Play Store app and swipe down from the top to open the quick menu. Tap the My Apps (overlapping boxes) icon on the left. If an update is available, press update all to install it.

To explore settings on your watch, check out our handy Ticwatch Settings Reference here: viewtopic.php?f=66&t=54380
