This is strange but I have the same build number but no option in that menu ((((garrywadams wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 6:14 pmThe build number of the recent update is PWDD.190617.018.

Same with me. Build number is identical, but no water option - just SOS, essential mode, restart, power off and customize button.
Re: Clearing water from the speaker
I had TicExercise disabled. After enabling it, the clear water function is there.
Re: Clearing water from the speaker
A little help please. This is my second Tic watch, the first being the Ticwatch 2 (a beautiful time piece). I also only have SOS, Essential mode, Restart, Power off and Customize function button with the long push of the Functions button. I have Tic exercise running and the latest updates. What am I missing?
Re: Clearing water from the speaker
WOW! I followed the earlier posted guidance to include updating apps and rebooting phone and watch. That did it, all is fine with calling, texting and water clearing when out of phone range.

Good feature, however why you ignored a Pro (basic) version, it is mist the same... No new firmware, still many lags...Aathif Mahir wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2019 5:58 pmHi jhuster, jhuster wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 9:14 pmI came here to say that! Hopefully that feature is available for TicWatch Pro Non 4G version via an OTA update

Is it available for non 4G Version now or will be released via OTA soon? I have latest build number PWDD.190617.007 and nothing about clearing,...Aathif Mahir wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2019 9:20 amHi Wegas,Wegas wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2019 6:31 amGood feature, however why you ignored a Pro (basic) version, it is mist the same... Garry, Awesome!! Thanks for sharing that update. Would've never found it otherwise!garrywadams wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 5:59 pmI've got great news to share. It looks like the product team has added this feature and it is part of the newly released update!
I discovered it there almost by accident this morning when trying to restart my watch.
1. Make sure your device is running the latest update (settings -> system -> about -> system updates)
2. Long-press the bottom hardware button
3. Select "Speaker draining"
That's it!
Thanks to the Mobvoi Dev team for the quick turnaround on this! It's a simple feature add, but makes it much more convenient when you take this watch out for a casual swim or wear it in the shower and just need do clear the speaker.

Speaking of the Swim App, I had submitted to customer service 2 requests, one of which has to do the Swim function on my TicWatch Pro 4G. My initial customer service request: "I purchased the smartwatch (my 2nd TicWatch) back in mid-July. The swim function was awesome and perfect up until about 2 weeks ago, when it quit accurately tracking distance and laps. Is there something I can reset on the watch to get the swim app functionality back to the way it was when I started using the phone? Is there perhaps another app I installed that is causing a conflict with the Swim function? Can I reset back to factory default settings and try that way? "
All they could tell me was to try to do a factory re-set. I've done that, and tracking laps and distance is still much more erratic and random than it was in the initial months of my ownership. Any ideas or any fix coming out to make the swim app more reliable for tracking laps in a pool?
Thanks much,
Roger Ray

Re: Clearing water from the speaker
Roger,
I have not used the swim tracking function in about a month now that summer is gone. I'll have to hit the pool at the gym and test it.
My results have been very interesting when using TicExercise for swimming. I found that the app would regularly miss laps. I would swim 10 laps and only 5 or 6 would be recorded. I discussed the issue with the product team, and they asked me to send some debug logs of the issue.
I discovered that when I enabled debugging options within the TicExercise app And enabled the function to record raw data, my laps started recording properly. Like clockwork, if I disabled raw data saving, my workout would be recorded incorrectly. However, as soon as I turned that option back on, my workouts were spot on.
We have not been able to determine why the app is recording things wrong. I would be interested to see if your experience is the same. How comfortable are you with turning on some advanced functions and saving a debug log if I send you instructions? input from another user with the same problem would be helpful.
Thanks!
