Well I was wrong. 10.1.1 did not fix the issue. The app was stuck thinking it was still downloading stuff to the watch. But the watch was completely functional. When I tried to restart the app, it wanted to start at 0 again. I can no longer get the watch past the "paired" state. So nothing has changed.

I just received my ticwatch2 and all works well except bluetooth callingreceiving. When I try to make a call, I get a screen that says open ticwear app to enable bluetooth calling. I am not sure what to do on the ticwear ap to open bluetooth calling. I've submitted to support.

My watch finally paired successfully.

I was syncing the watch when both watch and my Iphone were charging. The Bluetooth seem continuously running without disconnect. Not sure if this could help you guys.

I was so excited for the watch. But now its unable to connect or sync, only after a day of using ;( Bluetooth symbol on my iphone just keeps blinking on and off...

Hey guys,

I hope this workaround will work for any of you and let you enjoy your watch.
Don't know if it will but please consider that I won't bring me in the same situation again.

But before you read the whole post I will give you some information about my config:
- iPhone 6, iOS 10.1.1
- Ticwatch 2, Onyx, Tic_4.2.6_intl
- Newest Ticwear from Apple App Store

Problem:
I got my ticwatch paired after unboxing but then lost my connectivity after about two hours and it came never up again.
So i decided to do a factory reset with clearing data on my watch. I had to pair the devices again and still stuck in syncing data.
Bluetooth on iPhone flushed on and off (paired and unpaired) beginning by choosing country.
After a bunch of restarts, resets of my networks, hard resets and reinstalls of Ticwear on my iPhone along with factory resets and cleaning data on my ticwatch, I felt really unlucky.

Solution:
- Cleared network data on my iPhone and checked if there were any paired devices left after enabling Bluetooth (if there were, I deleted them)
- After restart of my phone Bluetooth was enabled the whole process without playing at the on-off button
- Started ticwatch
- Logged-in at Ticwear and started pairing process with syncing data, but didn't work again
- Waited on that status for about 5 to 10 minutes
- Did a factory reset on my ticwatch again, but not with clearing data
- Restarted Ticwear and logged-in again
- Started pairing process and Bluetooth was stable

Presumptions:
- Doing a factory reset with clearing data maybe causes problems
- I had Bluetooth the whole day running without trying to pair the devices, maybe it fixed itself


Please let me and the crowd know if this help you out or is just garbage - but still worked on my situation.

Pairing it with an Android solves it immediately. Seems like apple is slowly losing out..

Holzi's method worked for me.

1. Uninstall Tickwear App
2. Reset Watch
3. Reset Network Settings on iPhone
4. Re-pair.

Seems to be syncing now. Not sure how long it will last though..
