How did you get Minuum wear working? I can't figure out how to set it as the input method.
By the way, thanks for posting this! I am excited for all the IoT (Internet of Things: controlling internet based stuff like thermostats) possibilities now that we can load our own software easily!

My new face of watch: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.qext.rugged2&hl=en
You must activate mode 1024 to install it. It will then be among the Ticwear faces.

Nice watchface but the battery power of my mobile is always 100%. Battery of the watch is ok.

This is very interesting! thanks everyone for sharing tips and experience on side loading apps.
I'm really new on the android dev. and would like to learn from the ticwatch community of how some android apps work and some does not?
1. Basically, Ticwatch is an android 5.1 itself ( not android wear ). So it should be able to side loaded any Android app .apk.
2. However, some app does not work, crash right after start. What can be cause. Compatibility issue?
3. All the android wear compatible apps, whether they have "wear" version specifically for wearable?
For example, as you install an app AA on phone and use android ware app to install "wear" version of AA on wearable.
4. Then how to extract AA "wear" version .apk? I would believe "wear" ver. should be sepcifically design for wearable, less compatibility issue?

I used ADB to set the input method. You can find instructions to do this online.ZakAttack wrote:How did you get Minuum wear working? I can't figure out how to set it as the input method.

Was anyone able to run Yatse (Kodi remote control)?
It seems that it is possible to install it, but I can't configure it.

I haven't tried it, but i don't know if it would work very well, considering the small screen size of the watch.Eyal wrote:Was anyone able to run Yatse (Kodi remote control)?
