Successfully sideloaded Android Wear app! (Post working apps here too!)

Hi! Today i successfully sideloaded an Android Wear app. Well, it's technically a modified version of an Android app, but you get the point.
I installed Flappy Bird!

Everything works just fine in the game except for leaderboards, which crashes, because it needs google play games.
I tried a few other apps as well, but most of them crashed on launch. Some of them worked just fine though!

Here's a video!

Here's how i did it.

And here's where i got the modified Flappy Bird from:
Click me! :)

If you find any cool apps that work, post them here! I'd like to test them!

Working apps so far:

  • Flappy Bird
  • Firefox (Needs keyboard app, cant type URL's without it.)
  • Minuum Wear Keyboard
  • Minecraft: Pocket Edition (works fine, some buttons hard to press because of circular screen. Turning to the right will try to escape the app back to the home screen)
  • ES File Explorer

Very nice, thanks. Got in ant took a look around. Running some UBNT Unifi, gimp, Evernote, advanced IP scanner zenmap. Very interesting. Nice to see the advanced level capabilities and I'm wondering if this will negate the need for a Developer "dock" to do any mod's. XDA-Developers, game on.

The developer dock would still be useful for file transfer, since the "ADB File managers" that i've tried don't really work.
Also, if you want me to add any apps to the list on the OP, lemme know :)

Now I'm wondering what in the world the point of the developer dock was...
I pretty much wasted $20

It should make file transferring a lot faster than doing adb on wifi or Bluetooth

Cheers!

Has anybody tried to sideload something like RunKeeper or MapMyRun?

I can't find the Android Wear APK anywhere for it... Just the APK for the normal one. I mean, I can sideload that one too, but the AW would be better.

Are the Wear APK files stored inside the main app APK? I'm out of touch with how Wear development happens.
