How to remove the 'tic' icon from the notifications bar

If anyone knows how to remove that notification, that would be stellar. It really annoys me that its there all the time.

I'm pretty sure you can block your phone from showing that notification. On newer versions of android, just tap and hold on the notification :)

You can but when you do that it will not allow you to get the notifications on your watch. It will not vibrate or make a noise.....

This will only remove notifications from the Tic app. All other notifications will still come through to the watch, unless you long press on THOSE notifications on the phone and turn them off.

I did it. Seeing Tic there all day got old. It works.

My experience is the same - hiding it still lets things get through to the watch.

But I recall reading in the past (related to a different background app, not a watch) that hiding the notification means in theory that Android could choose to terminate the process if it needs the memory, and you wouldn't know except that the watch would stop getting notifications.

I've done this for years with my pebble watch with no issues... Try it and see
