Hi guys,

I am currently using a Ticwatch 2 (Charcoal) and have seen the new Ticwatch S/E. In my opinion, they should still consider making the Ticwatch 2 compatible with AW. Please leave your thoughts down below. I really hope the Ticwatch 2 gets AW support.

Thanks.

I totally agree! I think the switch to Android Wear would be a major improvement for the Ticwatch 2 and with AW2 the watch would be the best at the market right now.

I also agree. I was planning on switching back to an iPhone and Apple watch in December since the 2 has not worked for everything I had hoped but a switch to AW2 would definitely make me reconsider.

The specifications are the same for all watches... TW2, TWS and TWE. The only differences are the IP specs and the battery life time. At least a dual boot mode if possible.

Of course they should. I will feel a bit cheated if they don't get aw support on the tw2.

AW should have been on it since the beginning, or at least support it.
whats the reason of a android based watch if you can't run the android apps on it :(

I read somewhere on forum a post from Gaby they are negotiating with google to get AW2 for our Ticwatch2.
It woud be nice to have some official statement here!

I 100% back the idea of a full Software transition but in terms of pushing that update to users - it'd be near impossible with the way Android updates work. It would most likely require alternative methods - ie. Over ADB.. which afaik is only able to be accessed (on the TicWatch 2) via WiFi or with a Dev-Dock. A Dev-Dock is inaccessible to consumers and ADB over WiFi doesn't work in recovery. Take this information with a grain of salt however, because things could change any moment.

Thanks for all the support guys, I really hope Mobvoi puts some sort of AW onto the TW2, really something that they should consider trying/doing.

Thanks.
