Hello,
In your kickstarter campaign you stated that the watch would be Android Wear Backwards compatible with Android Wear apps. How do you enable this feature? Or is it even available on the watch yet?

This looks like it may be specific to Ticwatch 1. I'm sure some things align, but not necessarily all.

hmm. This is interesting. I belive that feature was removed from the global version of the app though. You can also open a wifi ADB and side load apps that way. But from my understanding the apps will get erased every time the tic watch syncs.

I have no idea what the final stance is, but the best option for us is to assume it won't have backwards compatibility.

Which is actually really stupid. They should have 2 versions of the OS like Oneplus did with OxygenOS vs HydrogenOS. One for the Chinese Mobvoi store and one for the Google play store.

It's a little late now since there's no way to enter recovery (at least not that I'm aware of.) But I hope they can figure out how to make it work.

They did make a "global" release, which implies other releases as well.

But it's all speculation and it's best to assume we are stuck with the Mobvoi store.
