That's sad news, I definitely hope we get some Android Wear support soon!

They actually just released a new OTA, that supposedly adds the Mobvoi store. I updated the watch, the companion still needs to be verified for the Play Store and the App Store, so it'll be up in a couple of business days.

It would be so great to have ticwatch2 Global Edition with Android Wear compatibility (esp. AW 2.0)!
It's just too limited with only ticwear and Mobvoi stuff...

Great regarding hardware, but poor regarding software...

Well, AW compatibility is up now. Its fairly limited as it only works with apps that dont require connection to the phone (because the compatibility mode doesn't work with the AW app). So it won't work with the most important things like remote camera shutters, 2fa, and other apps that are designed to interact with an app on the phone.
You can get to it by tapping on the version number in the companion app and then enabling it in the advanced settings.

They are aware of our demand regarding AW. According to the post I read on the Tic2 Global Launch Facebook Group it's a licensing issue with Google. It's nothing technical. Hopefully they sort it out.
