My ticwatch2 was in power save mode and did not react to any touches on the display anymore, only to the button.
I had to hard-restart it by keeping the button pressed for some time.

Use ticklestrip instead .. saves a reboot ..
Re: No response to display touches while in power save mode
My watch went into power saving mode, so I placed it on the charger. Ever since then I can not get the watch OUT of power saving mode as the screen is non-responsive.
The side scroll works, but does not allow me to restart the device, nor can I manage to leave power saving mode.
Please help, lest I had a expensive crappy digital watch... Going to try letting it power off fully, then recharge it.

You can tap the tickle strip to select an option.
Alternatively you can long press the crown for a forced reboot
