Smell? how to get rid of?

Post by kazjim » Tue Oct 04, 2016 9:16 pm

G'day all, unboxed my new charcoal last night, first thing I noticed when i put it down was the weird rubber smell on my hands . . .

Is it ok to wash it lightly in mild soap /water or is there a preferred method to remove the chemical smells?

Other than that, Happy IOS 10 user here :)

(Owned several smartwatches in the past - mostly Pebble...)

Hmm. Well It says it is protected from "Low pressure watch Jets" and dust. But to be on the safe side, it is probably a better idea to just use a washcloth and go over the surfaces that way.

Would that be the strap and not the watch. I'd wash the strap down.

Hey :) I had the same problem but now (after like 2 weeks) the smell has completely gone, so I guess it should be the same for you and anyone else that had a smell :)
