I've loved this watch since I got it last year. The battery life used to be great - up to 2 full days. But something changed a few weeks ago in February, and now the battery dies in less than a day.

I've tried different watch faces, I've reset the watch, but nothing helps.. battery drains before the evening hours. Anyone have any luck resolving this?
Do you have the exercise auto-detect function in TicExercise app on or off?

I had much of it on before (with battery lasting a while). Now I have everything disabled except step and motion detection. And still battery drains in just over half a day

And Fossil stopping roll out of HMR2 shows Id rather get it tested than not tested: https://9to5google.com/2021/03/07/fossi ... ate-pause/
Go to the Fossil forums, tell me if any of the end users are having complaints? No. They are not, it was Fossil who chose to stop pushing the update, it will probably be pushed in the next week or two again, and the Fossil users will be happy again. We should have an update designed for the 4100 platform by now in my opinion considering we have the only watch capable of using said update, regardless if we have to wait that is fine, but do not attempt to dethrone Fossil because they stopped an OTA that could resume at any moment. ;)
Hi, genuinely no attempt to dethrone Fossil at all. I highlighted an article that showed they had paused the rollout for "issues". We are all fast enough to comment when our devices don't perform as we want them to and yet we are all in a mad hurry to get the updates pushed quickly. Id imagine there are a group of Fossil watch users similar in there desire to have this update on their watches, the same way we all want it on our devices.

The comments on the article have complaints in it about the performance of fossil watches, admittedly nothing specific top HMR2 but shows they aren't perfect. Which WearOS device is

I'm not going to attack anyone to protect the reputation of a mass market tech company over a comment on a forum about a software update on a watch, trust me they don't care. Seems somewhat OTT to me but suit yourself on the tone you wish to project on a forum post.
