It's the same for me. I was using a honor 8 without any problems, but when I started using my new mi mix 3 started the problem. I have tried everything.
Please fix this issue.

I can reproduce this with Xiaomi Mix 3 and same version of software on Ticwatch E as well.

Do something about this!!

I have the same issue on my Ticwatch Pro. I have tried everything suggested on this thread and nothing has worked.

I will be throwing away my Ticwatch Pro and telling everyone I know not to buy one. A watch that cant connect to the internet is just an expensive casio.

The Ticwatch is so buggy and slow that I sincerely regret buying it.

Hi everyone,

Regarding most of the questions here, the Play Store requires a WiFi connection, and cannot be used when only paired through Bluetooth. For the weather issue, open the Settings menu on the watch, and then Apps&Notifications>App Permissions>System Apps>Google>Enable "Location".

Hi Tgriger,

Google Play Store requires a Wifi connection on Wear OS devices. If the watch is not directly connected to Wifi, the attached photo will show on the watch. Wifi automatically only turns on when it is needed as a way to save battery life, it is possible that the Wifi was accessed when the store was opened on the watch. If the Wifi was turned off completely, the store would not open.

My ticwatch E2 work perfectly when my phone is in WIFI mode in y house

I street my phone was in cellular mode 4G.
I receive sms, and notification....no probleme but , befor i can answer with the mic of the swatch, and see meteo weather.

now it's impossible....juste the notification work in cellular mode.

I try enable google localisation in my ticwatch E2, failed, the weather aplication search ..and nothing.
In WIFI mode... no probleme (wifi on my phone )

So in resume: no wifi on my ticwatch, just bluetooth, or wifi on my ticwatch and bluetooth, all work only if my phone have wifi.
if my xiaomi is in cellualr mode...just notification

Hi,

I'm experiencing the same issue and I'm very disappointed.
I use Ticwatch E with OnePlus 5T, I tried almost everything, wipe cache, factory reset, uninstall etc ... and it's still here.

The issue does not show when you reboot the phone, but if you turn off Bluetooth on phone or watch, then you reconnect, you can't have internet on the watch (but you receive notifications). For example, you cannot connect to Google Play Store on the watch.
So you have to reboot the phone again ...

Hope this could help.

Also, I'm on the last updates on OnePlus 5T and Ticwatch E at this day

Please do something for us, this watch is amazing.

Thanks!
Hi Sgb66699,

We are really sorry for issue your encountering. You can fix this issue by entering airplane mode on both the devices for upto 10 seconds.

Hello evrey BODY !!!!!!

I FOUND !!! my ticwatch E2 and my xiaomi work in 4G data cellular, and the play store too!!!!!!

It's a lucky time after 9 month to search...

The story:
I ate at the burger king, a salesman came to me to do a survey, iol asked me if i can go to a BK survey website.
I took my phone and I went, and the .. "inaccessible site".
have nothing to understand ....
so I looked at home and just like the watch in WIFI it works.
after several hours of research, a foreign post tells me the solution.
In Android 9, APN cellular data is set to .... IPV6 only.
I put IPV4 and IPV6, and BINGOOOO the site was accessible.
Better, my watch has found its connection directly, the play store, OK google, everything works !!!!!

And yes, a filthy protocol that blocked everything in android P.
4G protocols are handled in APNs.

here, problem solved!
