Google Fit HR monitoring

Post by scorpion101 » Wed May 08, 2019 6:40 pm

Hi, I want to ask why native Google Fit HR monitoring is disabled on the TicWatchPro? And are there any plans to enable this functionality?

I know it is available on other WearOS devices as a simple setting within Google fit. Instead I have to use a 3rd party app and rely on that to feed the data into Google fit which can take some time for Google Fit to be up to date. Thank you.

You have to enable data synchronization within the Mobvoi app. It synchronizes the 24-hour heart rate data from your watch and pushes it to Google fit. Google fit does not pull the data directly from your ticwatch pro.

Open the Mobvoi app and click on the "Account" icon on the bottom.

You will, of course, already need to have 24hr heart rate monitoring enabled on the watch within the TicPulse app on your watch so it has data to sync over. If you open TicPulse on the watch you can swipe to the right to enable 24hr tracking.

It took me some time to figure out the right combination because I couldn't find it documented anywhere, but this has been working well for me.
