Ticwatch S2 frequently disconnected

As per title, my watch keeps getting disconnected (i.e. a crossed out cloud icon) although the phone is are literally next to it.

I'm using OnePlus 6 and had ensured Wear OS and Mobvoi app on my phone are exempted from battery optimization.

Does this happen to anyone else? How do I fix this?

When crossed cloud appears, Enable airplane mode on your smartphone and Ticwatch for upto 10 seconds.
