Incoming call problem

Dear Mobvoi.

Please do something to fix functionality which notify us about incoming cellular call. It takes about 5-10 seconds to appear on watch about somebody calling me, that is very very bad. I moved to Ticwatch pro from Amazfit Bip, and Bip doing that job instantly - notification of a new call appears at the same moment as on phone... I ready to share any bug report if required.

Hi Wegas,

Getting 5 - 10 seconds for call notifications to arrive is totally normal, it's a limitation of Wear OS not from Mobvoi. You can find some third party workarounds in the internet to solve this problem.

wow. Another "Improvement" towards Wear 1.5 which had no delays?

Could you please be more specific where to find the 3rd party workarounds?

Boah is this all bad. I am really wondering if I should stop using Android Wear at all. Such a regression is really a shame.

Hi steviehs,

We are really very sorry that limitation, unfortunately we can't anything on that. Hopefully Google would address this issue in upcoming major update for Wear OS.

To be frank doing some workarounds on a new staff for 200$ is a little bit strange. I have contacted to Google and they redirected me to manufacture of the watch - Mobvoi. Mobvoi doing apposite - forwarding to Google. Guys, maybe you have to start development instead of redirecting?

@Wegas: where do you contact Google at all?

Another issue with the telefone App on the watch:

When the watch is connected also as a bluetooth headset I can not use my external bluetooth headset to pick up a call. This is definitely annoyng as I want to use the watch while I am on my bicycle to take up a call but use the headset for the call itself.

The only chance I have right now, is to switch of headset connection to the watch... which is apity.

Any chance to improve?

We have shared this issue with our engineers to work on alternative solution instead waiting for Google to address the issue, Hopefully we'd have a better solution for this issue soon.
