24 hour heart rate tracking not working

I recently purchased the ticwatch pro 4G LTE. I have 24 hour heart rate monitoring turned on in the Ticpulse app but the watch is not recording heart rate 24 hours. I have looked at the heart rate monitor and the green lights are not on. I do not know why. Any help would be appreciated.

First, you can verify your permissions. For instructions, see our Wear OS permissions FAQ here: https://forum.mobvoi.com/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=54572

Try a watch face such as Heartbeat or Orange Light. When you tap the heart rate complication (indicator), it will take a reading and you can then check if the green light is flashing on the bottom of the watch. If it's not working at all, try restarting the watch. Settings> System> Restart.

If it still doesn't work then you will have to try a factory reset (https://forum.mobvoi.com/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=54671) and if that doesn't work then a warranty claim (https://support.mobvoi.com/) may be the final option.

I did this but to no avail. It seems as if recently and randomly it has started working out of nowhere. But it also is advertised as 24 hour heart rate tracking while in essential mode. When watch enters essential mode it only tracks heart rate when I press bottom left hand button. How do I fix this?
