TicWatch E2 overheat & ridiculous battery drain

Post by jhanfungsiah » Mon Nov 04, 2019 2:22 pm

Dear Mobvoi,

I have just received my E2, despite the long charging time to boot up my watch for set up.

I am currently experiencing an incredible drain on the battery, and when putting on my wrist it gets hot and uncomfortable.

Your help with this concern is very much appreciated.

I have the same issue, I have to charge the watch 2 times a day. (and without AOD, Bluetooth and GPS)

Is there anything we can do about that ?

Greetings se.m.sobhy!

The OP's issue was with initial setup and updating most likely. As this runs the radios constantly, the battery drain is quite high. But this condition is temporary and battery time should improve significantly after the initial setup and updating.

If your issue is with everyday battery time then take a look at our Battery Life Tips FAQ:

You can run the test specified to see if the watch battery has an issue.
